Kiki Louya is a Detroit-born Chef, Entrepreneur, Food Activist, Community Partner, and Storyteller, working to build a healthier, more equitable food system for all. Named one of “16 Black Chefs Changing Food in America” by The New York Times in 2019, she founded Folk & The Farmer’s Hand, two award winning food concepts, as well as Nest Egg Detroit, the country’s first all-women-owned hospitality group. With over 20 years of food and beverage experience, her work has appeared in Food & Wine Magazine, Women’s Health Magazine, the Wall Street Journal, and many more. She is a graduate of The University of Michigan and Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, as well as a program graduate of the esteemed James Beard Foundation Chefs for Policy and Change.
